As many as 3,900 new Covid-19 cases and 195 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, the biggest spike in a single day, the health ministry said on Tuesday and asserted that “some states” were not reporting cases in a timely manner, which is now being addressed. The ministry said the total number of cases stand at 46,433 and the death toll at 1,568.
