5 ‘mandaps’, 161-ft high: Nagara-style of architecture for Ram temple

Ram Mandir, coming up at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, will now have five-domed ‘mandaps’ and one ‘shikhar’, making the temple a whopping 161 feet high. The temple, which will take around three to three-and-a-half-year to be ready as per project’s architects, would have three storeys and it would be based on Vastushastra. The older version of the design had two storeys.
