After three days of questioning, the Narcotics Drugs Bureau had arrested Rhea Chakraborty last week. A special court in Mumbai on Friday had rejected the bail pleas of Rhea and her brother Showik. The siblings are expected to approach the High Court for bail today. For now, Rhea is in judicial custody till September 22 and is lodged at the Byculla jail. The drugs angle was exposed after the Enforcement Directorate, who is probing the money laundering angle, reportedly shared chat records of Rhea with the NCB after they found a mention of substance abuse.
