Shayara Bano, the main petitioner in the triple talaq case in the Supreme Court, was on Tuesday accorded the minister of state (MOS) rank by Uttarakhand government, just 10 days after she joined the ruling BJP. Apart from Bano, two more women were given the MOS rank posts. CM’s spokesperson said, “It is a Navratra gift from the chief minister to the women of Uttarakhand.”
