The border checkpost at Talapady on the Kerala-Karnataka border in Kasaragod on Monday witnessed tension and a series of protests and road blockades against the strict implementation of Karnataka’s decision to make RT-PCR negative certificates mandatory for travellers from Kerala to enter the state. Karnataka police turned away many people who did not have the RT-PCR negative certificate.
