After being appointed as vice-president of Tamil Nadu BJP’s youth wing, forest brigand Veerappan’s daughter Vidhya has vowed to fight caste discrimination. Hailing from the dominant vanniyar community in northern Tamil Nadu, the 29-year-old law graduate is keen to break the caste barriers which have dominated the state politics for decades.
