Kamala Harris’ Secret Service code name will be “Pioneer.” In a nod to her own path-breaking advance as the first Black/Indian-American vice-presidential nominee, Harris picked Pioneer from a list approved by the White House Communications Agency for Secret Service call sign. Candidates are known to choose code names or call sign that resonate with them personally.
