Pulwama probe: How NIA traced evidence that had ‘blown to pieces’

When the NIA began its probe into Pulwama attack, it faced a “blind case” in absence of any solid proof against the perpetrators. The case posed challenges, such as lot of evidence having blown to pieces in suicide attack & 7 accused being subsequently killed in encounters. However, the NIA used forensic tests including DNA profiling of evidence to breach the dead ends.
