Franchises want warm-up matches before IPL

Majority of the Indian Premier League franchises, gearing up for the tournament’s 13th edition in the UAE, want the BCCI to allow warm-up matches to be held between teams before the opening game on September 19. Having landed in the UAE barely a fortnight before the IPL is set to get underway, most teams “don’t mind a few warm-ups to get into the groove”.
