The US Department of Defence in its report to Congress on ‘Military and Security Developments involving the People’s Republic of China 2020’ has stated that Pakistan is among the countries, which have been chosen by Beijing for “military logistics facilities”. According to the report, the PRC is seeking to establish a robust overseas logistics and basing infrastructure.
