The health condition of playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in MGM Healthcare, is extremely critical, the Chennai hospital said in a bulletin on Thursday evening. His condition has deteriorated further warranting maximal life support, said hospital assistant director Dr Anuradha Baskaran. He is on ECMO and other life support measures.
