Former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh is likely to meet Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda during his ongoing stay in the national capital. He reached here from Punjab on Tuesday evening. According to sources, Amarinder may join the BJP after his talks with Shah and Nadda. It is also being speculated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may include the former Punjab CM in his cabinet. If Amarinder joins the BJP, he may be projected as the party’s chief ministerial candidate in the forthcoming assembly election. He may also be made the agriculture minister in the Modi government.
