Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday appointed Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel as AICC senior observer for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Terming it a huge responsibility, Baghel said, “Grateful to the party for expressing confidence. I will try my best to live up to the expectations of the top leadership”.
