With India-China ties improving, the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra has resumed after a nearly six-year hiatus. Of about 5,000 applicants, the Ministry of External Affairs chose 750 pilgrims this year. While both pilgrims and workers in Tibet are happy about the resumption of the yatra, they are concerned about rising temperatures.
