The Haryana Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are carrying out an investigation. Bharadwaj has been charged with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, which pertains to aggravated penetrative sexual assault, and sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
