RM Veerappan, better known as RMV, turns 95 today. Two years junior to M Karunanidhi and nine years younger to M G Ramachandran, RMV represents the last of the doyens of the Dravidian movement who had the privilege of being an understudy of E V Ramasamy Periyar and C N Annadurai.
